ROMCO Manufacturing, Inc. has closed its doors...
It is with some sadness that we announce the closure of ROMCO Manufacturing, Inc. after 36 years of operation in Southern California.
This decision was driven largely by the economy and in some ways was a blessing in disguise, allowing the President and CEO of the company the opportunity to finally retire. Despite the closure of the business, we consider ourselves very fortunate to have shared in the success that was ROMCO.
ROMCO started business with one Bridgeport conventional mill, a lathe and a horizontal bandsaw in the back of an antique and clock shop in Placentia in 1973. Through its history, ROMCO provided machining services, from prototype to production, to customers throughout the Southern California area, and throughout the United States. ROMCO grew into a 6000 square foot facility with state of the art CNC equipment and software technology, and was well known for its commitment to quality. ROMCO became ROMCO Manufacturing, Inc. in 1993, and became ISO 9001:2000 registered in 2003, maintaining an ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification through the day it closed its doors.
ROMCO Manufacturing, Inc. and the members of the ROMCO Manufacturing Team wish to thank the countless customers and vendors for the many years of support which contributed to the success of our company. The years of hard work did pay off, regretfully not enough to keep the doors open, but certainly enough to ensure that the commitment to quality and customer service will not soon be forgotten.
